Saturday

Good morning! Liberty again! For the past few weeks, (Is it weeks? I don't really know for sure...) My mom has made my sister and I use a website called Khan Academy. It's not too boring I guess, but it's SCHOOL in the SUMMER. But whatever. One of the courses my mom had me take was U.S. History, (a class I'll have in 8th grade next year,) And I finished the Khan Academy course a few days ago! YAY. But now she is having me write research papers on various people in U.S. history. At first I did one on Mother Teresa, and then realized that was WORLD history not U.S. history. So, I started to write reports on the past U.S. presidents! The first one I did was on our current president, but it wasn't very good, so I won't be posting it. My second one I think was a bit better and it was on our 28th president, (I had asked my sister to give me a random number,) Woodrow Wilson:  Woodrow Wilson Did you know that we used to have a $100,000 bill? I don't even HAVE that m

Good morning! I know I haven't posted anything in a while, but that's because nothing very interesting has happened! For camp, I was told to write a haiku so, PLEASE BE KIND. I DON'T DO THIS A LOT. Friends always love you, Even when you are broken. More precious than gold. - Liberty Pope Paige Turner :) Not much else has happened though. OH WAIT! My sister and I are turning 13 NEXT WEEK! Teenagers! AAAH. I am a little nervous, because next year we will be in 8th grade and that is the oldest in the school! People are going to look up to me now! It's a lot of pressure. Comment if any of you guys are or were nervous to begin 8th grade. I was able to "meet" the 8th grade teachers in a zoom meeting for Move-Up day during the "school year", so that's good. I guess I could post another story on here. I am going to run out soon though...Maybe tomorrow! Guess you'll have to keep reading! Adios.

Good morning! For the past few days, I have been at a family camp and it was really fun! We hiked a lot though, and I hate to exercise so that was less fun but still! Recently, I have been watching the Marvel movies, (and by recently I mean since April) and yesterday, I finished watching Avengers: Endgame. In case you haven't seen it, I promise to not write any spoilers, but let me just say: MARVEL, MAKE MORE MOVIES!! My friend Dustin who got me into Marvel and stuff told me that Marvel is going to make 20 movies in 10 YEARS. I hope he's right! The Marvel movies are SO good!! Peter Parker is my favorite hands down, but Tony Stark and Loki are tied for an extremely close second. They are both so sarcastic! HILARIOUS. If you have seen the Marvel movies, A) Don't tell me what happens in Spider-man Far From Home, I haven't seen it yet. B) Who are your favorite characters? C) What is your favorite movie? Avengers: Endgame was an AMAZING movie, but my next favorite is probabl

Also on Tuesday

I just wanted to add something, my school had a newspaper but no one in our school would read it! So I thought I would post the link here and you could maybe tell me what we could do to fix it:  http://swataranewsies.weebly.com/

Tuesday

Good morning! I'm sure the amount of times I have changed the title is not as annoying to you all as it's annoying me, but I like things to be orderly and uniform, so from now on unless I have something SUPER important to say (which I highly doubt will happen, my life is not that interesting) the title of my posts will be the day of the week. (Sorry for the super long sentence, I don't even know if it's grammatically correct. Please let me know.) Anyway, not much has happened since I last posted. I wasn't able to post anything yesterday or the day before because I was grounded from electronics after I dropped the phone Glory and I share in a bowl of chicken noodle soup. Oops.😬 However I am hoping I can use the phone again today since we have a little bit of a road trip today. My mom, my sister, and I are going to this camp called Kenbrook for three days. (Three, starting on Tuesday, I know it's weird.) It's usually just a camp for kids and it lasts for the

June 13th, 2020

Good morning! I know I said yesterday that the first Percy Jackson movie was terrible, (I didn't even see the second one) but I also said that Logan Lerman was much better in The Perks of Being a Wallflower. That was not very fair of me, so I just wanted to say: LOGAN LERMAN IS A GOOD ACTOR IN A TERRIBLE MOVIE. Thank you. I guess I should sort of introduce myself. My name is Liberty, and my twin sister Glory is the one who wanted me to say that. I am in 7th (now 8th) grade, and I love to read. Apparently I am a good writer (though I haven't won any contests, and I have entered about 6) but I really can't draw. I'm okay in art class I guess, but I am not creative enough to just sit there and draw. I don't really know what else to say, so I'm just going to post another story: This story is one I wrote a few years ago with some of my friends. It will make absolutely no sense, but I still kind of like it.   GIFTED STORY By: Liberty Pope, A.J. Keeney, Anna Dengler,

Friday, June 12th

Good morning everyone! I don't really know what to do here, but I think it's sort of like a journal, so I am just going to post whatever... This summer, I plan on writing a screenplay for one of my favorite books, Dave at Night . I decided to do this shortly after seeing the first Percy Jackson movie. SO BAD. Logan Lerman is so much better in the movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower.  It's on Netflix, you should watch it... Anyway, I also write stories, so I thought I could put one of my stories on here. Why not, right?  The following story is one my sister and I wrote for a writing contest at my favorite bookstore, Cupboard Maker Books. It's a bookstore AND a cat shelter, so cats just run around the store while you look at books! It's AWESOME. But anyway, hope you like it! The Very Very Bad Misadventures of:  Annika The Reluctant Bookstore Cat Once there was a city called Enola. In this city, there was a bookstore titled Cupboard Maker Books. Living in this bookst
